BASIC CHAI MILKSHAKE
2 – 3 scoops of Chai powder
250ml ice cream
60 ml water
Blend all! Serve with caramel or chocolate sauce.
Pep it up with sprinkles, garnish with cinnamon stick.
Experiment with the amount of Chai powder.
PUKKA CHAI MOCHA ROCKER SMOOTHIE
3 heaped scoops of Pukka Chai
250ml cold water
½ teaspoon instant decaffeinated coffee
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
A couple of ice cubes.
Mix chai, instant coffee and cocoa powder to a smooth paste with a little water. Then add the rest of the water and ice cubes. Blend and serve.
PUKKA CHAI TASTE-POPPING TOPPING
3 heaped scoops of Pukka Chai
125ml cold water
2 tablespoon ice cream
Blend together to make a creamy topping and pour over your favourite ice cream for a deliciously different dessert. This topping is also a winner over baked pies, tarts and crumbles, pancakes and flapjacks.
PUKKA CHAI PUNCHY-PEPPY ENERGISER
3 heaped scoops of Pukka Chai
250ml plain low fat yoghurt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons muesli
Blend chai with a little yoghurt to a creamy paste. Fold in remaining ingredients and serve.
PUKKA CHAI DRINKS FOR LOVERS
SMOOTHEST, CREAMIEST, MOST SEDUCTIVE COCKTAILS EVER
A touch of the exotic! Add Pukka Chai to any cream-type cocktail and the result is instant magic.
Basic proportions:
3 heaped scoops of Pukka Chai mixed with 115ml iced water.
115 ml of the spirit of your choice.
115 ml of the cream liqueur of your choice.
Shake with a few ice cubes, strain and serve topped with a grating of nutmeg.
SMILEY FACE BISCUITS
(A kiddies favourite)
3 heaped scoops of Chai
170g cake flour
115g butter
50g sugar
Currants, or chocolate drops, for eyes
Small bar of plain milk chocolate
Cream butter and sugar. Fold in flour and chai. Roll and cut pastry with round biscuit cutter.
Press in two currants for eyes and lightly score a crescent-shaped mouth.
Bake at 190° for 60 minutes.
Melt chocolate over hot water and dip the top of each biscuit to create effect of hair.
Place on a wire rack to set.
